"The Leftovers" is one of the greatest shows of all time

I just watched this show recently after not knowing it ever existed until a few weeks ago (the series actually ended last year). It's like a love child of "Lost" and "Twin Peaks". Such a shame that this show never got a single Emmy/Golden Globe nomination. All-around great acting (especially the 'big four' characters) and writing. And the music is fantastic.

Leftovers is fantastic. Carrie Coon is absolutely amazing in the show, and it's a travesty she never got a nomination, especially for the third season. Her story that concludes the series is just masterfully done, and her reaction to the events she's recounting was just so in line with who her character is on the show.

Who would have ever thought a randomly-assembled group of actors including Jennifer Aniston's husband, a 33-year-old nobody (Carrie Coon), a former Dr. Who, and Liv Tyler could churn out an incredible combined acting performance?
