Boxing fans' place to unload (pun intended)

Post by artibus » 15 Jul 2017, 00:31

Those who favor the "sweet science" can join in....who is your best "pound for pound" fighters of all time, favorite KO's, etc...

This KO is one of my favorites...Zab Judah does the "chicken dance":https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bU4yL9tOeRo
My pick for the best Heavyweight of all time? "The Greatest"....Muhammad Ali.
Best pound for pound? My top five:
1) Roy Jones Jr
2) Roberto Duran
3) Sugar Ray Robinson
4) Sugar Ray Leonard
5) Marvin Hagler

Come Aug 26th, the GOAT in boxing will be Conor McGregor!

Doubt me, just ask him, LMFAO

I wonder if he is as big an underdog as Cassius Clay v. Sonny Liston I that night back in '64?
He seems to have about the same chance (with these rules) or even less....

You'd think but everyone is betting on him, I think Floyd is -500 and Conor is around +350 which is a joke.
Should be -2000 and +1500 but people keep betting on Conor.
I'm going to bet on Floyd about 2 weeks before the fight as I don't see odds shifting till the week of the fight.

My thinking is starting to change on this one.
I'm not so convinced that this is gonna end up as I thought just last week ...as a D12 for Floyd.
Floyd is getting old, and his defensive skills are dependent more on speed and evasiveness than pure defensive ability, ala someone such as Bernard Hopkins or Roberto Duran....
He could get caught, and tagged....and then all bets are off.
Just a thought.

Ya I agree
I think Floyd by decision is the right bet and then hedge it with Conor by KO in rounds 1-4 which is +1000
You get a decent return on your money that way but nothing crazy.
